No-drill wall décor and shelving for rented rooms

This is the category renters worry about most — bare walls, no permission to drill, and a deposit on the line. Adhesive strips and shelves genuinely hold real weight, within limits.

The honest caveat

Adhesive strips can occasionally pull paint off on removal, particularly on older or poorly-painted walls. Test on a hidden patch first if the wall's paint job looks fragile.
